FAQ

FAQ

Q: What program do you use for your digital work?
A: Photoshop 3.0 -- it came with the Wacom tablet I bought several years ago. I hope to upgrade soon...

Q: What media do you use for your traditional work?
A: Preferably mixed media: Prismacolor colored pencils, watercolors, acrylics and gel pens.

Q: How long do you take to draw something?
A: It completely depends. If it's a commission, trade, or request, it depends on what you're asking for. If it's personal work, it can take anywhere between an hour to almost a year.

If you order a commission and you have a deadline, then depending on the order, I will strive to get it done by that deadline.

Q: Why do you draw?
A: Art is just what I do. It means everything to me. I can express how I feel about anything through my work, and it serves as a way to express my respect for different things (such as nature).

Q: What inspires you to draw?
A: Music and nature. All the way.

Q: Can i use your pictures? (example: for refs, stamps, ... etc)
A: NOTE ME FIRST. It depends on what you want to use it for.

Q: Can I use your drawings in rp/chat/youtube video/website/blog etc?
A: Absolutely not. Not unless I've directly given you permission. If you are a commissioner, you may ONLY use the work you commissioned me for. Same goes for requests/trades/gifts (if I ever do them).

Q: Will you feature me?
A: I'd rather you not ask. This comes across rude and is taking advantage of my generosity. I try to be as generous as possible and I don't usually complain when you ask, but out of courtesy, I'd rather you didn't (out of respect for me and for others I chose to feature).

Q: Can I trace/copy/reference your art?
A: Referencing is not a problem. Just as long as you don't directly copy my work. Copying is not allowed here, sorry. Tracing is another form of copying. If it's a free line art, then that is fine. Otherwise, do not copy/trace/redistribute without my permission.

Q: Can I critique your work?
A: You may certainly critique, unless I state otherwise. However if you strongly feel the need to do so, go ahead. I'll accept it. However, please no bashing. Make it constructive.

Q: Can we be friends?
A: Of course! I'm a friendly person. (:
